Are You Kidding Me:

With sign ups nearing the end there are many suprises to be seen. Despite the recent years of Mid Major schools
upsetting elite programs, in this league they are not getting any respect. With the exception of Notre Dame the
only team not in the ACC, Big 10, Big 12, Big East, SEC, or Pac 10 is the North Texas Mean Green. Owner PsychoGREEN1 selcted
them as the 29th overall selction. When asked if the selections reflect lack of popularity with todays youth the North Texas
coach said, "Popularity, Yes... Without being in a BCS conference you are overlooked by many people, although you may have
just as much talent as the big boys. Each and every year teams such as: North Texas, Northern Illinios, and Memphis
are getting better." Among smaller schools to be left out were Utah, Toledo, and historically popular Marshall. Utah and Toledo
are seen as favorites in their leagues and are each ranked in the preseason top 25 at 14 and 24 respectively.
Alabama has won 12 National Championships and been home to arguably the best college football coach to ever teach the
game, yet after 30 picks in this league they are still available. Have the Tide lost there popularity with todays youth? Back
in the day you would be lucky to get Alabama without a top 5 selection, but today arch rivals Georgia, Auburn, Florida,
and Oklahoma are all easily selected prior. It seems even North Texas has a larger fan base, well atleast in this league.
This leaves me pondering has this commish just not be searching hard enough for southern gamers or have the Tide finally been
washed out?
